The focus on young people represents our dream and vision of a societay where people are able to take control of their own lives and decide on their own future. The YMCA dream is a society where young people consistently speak out to the world and lead change about issues affecting their lives and other people. Young people share decision making processes with persons of all ages; young people in Afica represent the larger population but unfortunately grow up as subjects and lack the opportunity to develop as citizens with rights, spaces and places to speak out. They are manipulated as subjects due to bad politics and socioeconomic circumstances.
This summit focuses on biulding the civic competence of the youth and creates opportunities for them to develop voices and occupy decision making spaces so they are able to influence those in authority. Young and future leaders are better prepared to design holistic, appropriate and self sustaining  solutions for their communities.
The teaming youth population is Africa’s greatest asset. Build the youth for sustainianle development.

Yankari Game Reserve is a tourist attraction site located along Bauchi- Gombe Road in Bauchi State of Nigeria. A natural game reserve covering about 2, 244 square kilometer of uninhabited woodland and constituting wide and unique climate condition of both Sahel and Guinea Savannah. Yankari Game reserve inhabits a wide variety of animals such as the lions, elephants, reptiles, insects among others. Among the blessed endowment of the natural reserve is the presence of caves and seven streams including the Wikki Warm Spring which is a crystal clear water that gushes underneath from a sand stone rock. Aside from the uniqueness of the source of this stream, the temperature is a constant of 31oc. This no doubt has been the source of attraction for tourist.
Yankari Game Reserve has been upgraded to meet up international standard with facilities and services such as a restaurant which serves local and continental dishes, clinic, game viewing services and sport facilities such as badminton and long tennis court, and conference hall, suits, chalets, and hostels to accommodate resident tourist, which no wonder makes local and international tourist view Yankari as a beautiful and peaceful world.
