LEADERSHIP YOUTH CONFERENCE REPORT The YMCA Bauchi one day youth conference held at Yankari Game Reserve has come and gone leaving blessed memories on the delegates.
The conference which was organized to celebrate Nigeria’s independence had about 75 people in attendance from different parts of the country was the first of it’s kind in the history of the Bauchi YMCA.
Conference curriculum:
The conference curriculum was designed in such a way to create enlightenment about Nigeria, challenges and glories and the role of the youth in Nation Building. Spiced/ coupled with interesting and motivational facilitators, there is a good progress recorded.
The topic on leadership concept was handled by Past. Joshua; the youth in politics; Rev. Joshua Ray Maina; and the glories and challenges of Nigeria In Africa, Mrs. Hanatu Yaro.
The participation in the conference by the delegates was encouraging. This was measured by the nature of questions and response from the youths during and after the programme. In fact, this revealed that the delegates share in the National Goal of Developing the Country.
The excitement was boosted by the unique nature of the games and leisure that took place at the Wikki Warm Spring. The accommodation was also one of the many excitements about the conference.
