The Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) is an ecumenical community service organization carrying out constructive, social, physical and educational activities for young people and their communities, regardless of religion race, gender or culture.
Bound by a common mission each branch functions with autonomy, responding to the needs of it’s communities locally however, the world alliance embodies over125 National movement of strong and weak association and it is imperative that the strong movement support and build the weak.
This is also evident in the YMCA GOP geared towards movement strengthening and resources mobilization to equip the YMCVA mission objective.

YMCA Bauchi was established on 12th October 1976; and since it’s inception it has been at the forefront of community development in the state through its multi sectoral approach to community programming. YMCA Bauchi is a volunteer driven organization that is committed to the development of the whole person through leadership building, vocational skills training, child protection, environmental justice and reproductive health education.
